A regular Devizes antiques market for over 25 years
The weekly Old Curiosity Market is a long established feature of Shambles Market Hall and caters for both public and trade customers.
Established in 1995, initially operating on a Sunday, the market proved to be a popular success and was extended to include Mondays in order to meet demand from both traders and customers. During this period the Market has attracted a loyal base of regular traders but has still been able to offer the opportunity for casual sellers who want to sell on a less regular basis.
There is a wide range of items on offer most weeks which attracts the “bargain hunter” and during our period of operation, there have been many notable items offered for sale ranging from an original painting by King Charles to various military and ceramic collectables.
